The free API can only be used for non-commercial use cases, providing access to:
Recent history: historical data for the past 24 hours
Latest: real-time data
You can purchase access to our most used zones using our self-service page. Zonal access includes historical, real-time and 24h forecasted data.
Our API covers more than 200 regions worldwide and can easily be integrated into existing solutions to make your business more carbon-aware and differentiate your products.

The Data Portal provides free and open data for carbon accounts and researchers.
Explore granular electricity data for scope 2 carbon accounting. This includes emission factors for over 50 countries in CSV format for hourly, daily, monthly and yearly temporal granularity.

Get access to the carbon intensity (in gCO2eq/kWH) of electricity consumed in a specific region, which takes into account the life-cycle emissions of electricity production.
